Thursday Thirteen

Since my last week's Thursday Thirteen about 80's movies was such a hit, I thought I would revisit this post that I did almost a year ago about thirteen 80's hair bands we all know and love (admit it).

These are in no particular order.

1. Bon Jovi

2. Poison

3. Def Leppard

4. Skid Row

5. Motley Crue

6. Cinderella

7. White Lion

8. Ratt

9. Winger

10. Nelson (not sure if they really count)

11. Great White

12. Vixen

13. Slaughter

Oh yes! I did love all of those bands! I do admit it! My hair was TALL and heavily sprayed! And I used my royal blue eyeliner liberally.

I listened to an old Bon Jovi album the other day and it brought back such fun memories. Happy T13.

Ewwwwwwww, No Nelson doesn't count lol. The rest are great though. To this day that music is really all I like and I took My kids to see the Crue a couple years ago in Houston. My 10 year old at the time saw too many boobs, I wasn't thinking about that part when I bought the tickets, But i had wanted to see the Crue since I was 15, To share it with 4 of the people i love most in the world, was a totally awesome experience and well worth the wait.

I keep wanting to know how does Bon Jovi maintain that lovely hair! As I age, mine gets dry and gray. What does he do?! :-D

Can't relate to Nelson, but love the rest of the list. I think we have a cd from each of them and more than 1 from some.

Old Bon Jovi, can't handle his new stuff. Def Leppard - Ain't nothing like a little F-f-f-f-f-oolin! Motley Crue - Somehow, my daughter who is 17, played Too Young to Fall in love, to my little 7-10 yr old nieces. They sing every word! And WINGER! She's only 17! I remember being 17, driving around in my first car, and having my big hair blowiing in the wind. OMG! Thank you for this!!! Kimmy
